By using LostPet.com or PetTrader.com you agree to these terms. We may update them. Continued use means you accept the current version.
1. The service
LostPet.com is a pet registry and lost-and-found aid. PetTrader.com is a marketplace for pets, supplies, and services. The service is provided as-is. We do not guarantee a lost pet will be found or that a listing is accurate.
2. Accounts
Give true information and keep it current. You are responsible for your password and everything done under your account. Notify us of unauthorized use. We may lock or close accounts that are false, abusive, inactive, or used to game rewards.
3. Children
The site is not directed at children under 13. Do not create an account for a child under 13.
4. What you may post
You are responsible for photos, descriptions, and listings you upload. Do not post content that is unlawful, obscene, hateful, harassing, infringing, spam, malware, or that exploits minors. Do not impersonate another person. Do not list a pet or item you do not have the right to list. Do not use fake found-pet reports or fake rewards.
We may remove any content and lock accounts. We do not have to review every post in advance.
5. Photos and listings
You keep ownership of your photos. You give LostPet Inc. a license to store and display them so matching, recovery, and marketplace pages can work. That license ends when you or we remove the content, except copies already used to operate the service or required by law.
6. Marketplace rules
- LostPet Inc. is not a party to buyer/seller or finder/owner deals.
- Users must work out return, sale, payment, taxes, and disputes themselves.
- Describe items honestly. One listing, correct category.
- No stolen animals, no prohibited items, no fee-to-see-details scams.
- Listings expire and may be taken down.
7. Rewards
Any reward, credit, or token feature is experimental. Payment is not guaranteed. We may pause or reverse rewards if we believe there is fraud or a dispute.
8. Storage and changes
We may set limits on files, photos, and inactive accounts. We may change or stop part of the service. Content can be deleted.
9. Indemnity
You will hold LostPet Inc., its officers, and partners harmless from claims and reasonable legal fees arising from content you post, your use of the site, or your violation of these terms or someone else's rights.
10. Disclaimer and liability
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." WE DISCLAIM WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR LOST PROFITS, DATA, OR INDIRECT DAMAGES TO THE FULLEST EXTENT ALLOWED BY LAW. SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN LIMITS.

12. Trademarks
LostPet.com, PetTrader.com, and related marks belong to LostPet Inc. Do not use them without permission.
13. General
